TIP Customized TPEx ESG 30 Index

Overview

Taiwan Index Plus Corporation (TIP) collaborates with Taipei Exchange (TPEx) and Center for Corporate Sustainability from the College of Business at National Taipei University (NTPU), and designs “TIP Customized TPEx ESG 30 Index” (“TIP TPEx ESG 30 Index”). TPEx-listed stocks with the exclusion of high energy-consuming and polluting industries that meet the liquidity and financial criteria are further ESG-screened based on the “Taiwan Sustainability Ratings”. The top 30 stocks with the highest free float adjusted market capitalization are selected as constituents, and then weighted by their free float adjusted market capitalization and ESG rating. TIP TPEx ESG 30 Index represents the investment performance of stocks that are both investable and well ESG-performed.
